Kathryn is a plus size model and freely admits she will never be a "miss twiggy". She is hoping yo break into the increasing market for bigger models.
I picked Kathryn up last Sunday at Roseville Station and we drove to Mosman for the fortifications at Middle Head. Kathryn proved to be an excellent model. The shoot was fun, and she was willing to absorb my meagre knowledge of photography. We went for a number of different settings from gelled indoors, outdoors and also low key shots with black dress velvet for the background. In most instances I was using 2 flash setup in umbrellas, with an SB910 at camera right and one camera left. The secondary flash I usually set lower, the main one higher and aiming down. The shots in full sun I only used one flash in an umbrella. Inside when I gelled the background a third flash was used to colour the background.
